Principal Planning Officer - Staffordshire, West Midlands
£55+ per hour (umbrella) - Hybrid (1-2 days in-office) - 6-month contract (likely to extend)

A Local Authority in the West Midlands is looking for an experienced Principal Planner to lead on major applications and mentor junior team members, offering a great mix of hands-on work and leadership.

The Role

  • Manage and progress major and complex planning applications
  • Mentor and support junior planners
  • Ensure high-quality outcomes and service delivery
  • Office attendance 1-2 days a week
