Senior Information Security Manager

ORIX Australia is a leading provider of vehicle leasing, fleet management, and financial services, currently on an exciting digital transformation journey. We're looking for a Senior Information Security Manager to play a key role in shaping and delivering the organisation's cybersecurity strategy, protecting ORIX's data, systems, and reputation across its hybrid cloud environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Technology, you'll be responsible for leading ORIX's information security strategy, governance, and operational controls. You'll define the roadmap for risk management, drive compliance with ISO 27001 and NIST standards, oversee incident response, and partner closely with senior technology and business leaders to embed security best practice across all functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ORIX's cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
• Lead the design and implementation of security architecture and controls
• Manage vendor relationships, tools, and security operations
• Oversee threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure compliance with ISO 27001/NIST
• Drive security awareness and training across the business
• Partner with IT, Legal, Risk, and People teams to align security with business priorities

About You

You'll bring a balance of technical depth and leadership presence, with the ability to influence and engage across senior business and technology stakeholders.

We're looking for:

• 5+ years' experience in cybersecurity roles, including 2+ years in leadership
• Experience managing security within hybrid or cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Strong understanding of firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, IAM and Zero Trust
• Proven experience in risk management, compliance, and incident response
• Qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
