The Manager FinOps AP will be responsible for service delivery of our Accounts Payable/Receivable functions for a specific geo / country and will partner with a diverse set of stakeholders within the Finance Shared Service Organization as well as the business. A key responsibility will be to deliver existing services at a high degree of accuracy, timeliness and controllership, besides supporting the growth in business. Leading a team of 25 resources, this position will provide overall leadership and direction to the team.
This role requires a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, keen attention to detail and a proven track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. The role involves regular interaction with senior leadership and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and comfort with ambiguity, while maintaining a high bar on performance. The candidate should have a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining top talent.
Responsibilities- Performs autonomously, initiates and manages complex, departmental and/or cross-company work.
- Manages group workload and establishes priorities.
- Sets and improves policies and procedures, maintains full compliance, and implements best practices.
- Serves as a consultant or lead on projects and areas of finance or business support.
- Acts as an escalation point in resolving complex issues with internal and external partners.
- Significantly participates in recruiting efforts; continually raises the bar.
- Plays a significant role in the career development of the team.
- Drives execution of the team's vision and goals.
- Develops and communicates the team or department vision and goals.
- 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 3+ years of directly managing and leading a team of 3+ members experience
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- 4+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
