To coordinate all design-related activities between architectural, interior design, engineering to ensure design intent is maintained and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations.
Responsibilities- Manage coordination between architectural and interior design teams across all project phases.
- Review and integrate drawings from consultants (MEP, structural, ID, etc.) to resolve conflicts.
- Ensure design documentation meets project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Support design development and monitor design deliverables' progress and quality.
- Coordinate material submittals, mock-ups, and approvals.
- Maintain updated design records, drawings, and revisions.
- Assist in value engineering and design optimization processes.
- Liaise between site teams and design consultants to resolve site-related design issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- 10+ years' experience as design coordination with experience in architectural and interior.
- Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and finishing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks, BIM 360).
- Familiar with local building codes and international design standards.
